It is our pleasure to invite you to the Second National Conference of Addiction Psychiatry Society of India (APSI) - ‘ADDICON 2022’, to be conducted between 2nd and 4th December 2022 by the Centre for Addiction Medicine (CAM), National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) India at Bangalore.

We also celebrate thirty years of the CAM, NIMHANS!

The conference, organised in a hybrid format, with the theme of “Contemporary Approaches in Addiction Medicine – Neuroscience to Clinical Practice”, will emphasise multi-disciplinary care informed by research spanning neuroscience to public policy.

The scientific program will include plenary sessions, symposia, workshops, panel discussions, oral presentations and poster sessions. Awards for best papers, thesis papers and posters will be presented at the conference.

In addition, to lighten the proceedings, there will also be a quiz on addiction medicine for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students; and public engagement activities.

Our focus in this conference will be to foster and encourage participation from early career professionals in different fields of addiction medicine. To this end, ADDICON 2022 will provide several opportunities for networking and mentoring by experienced addiction medicine professionals.
